JUST IN: NTB appoints new acting CEO

The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) has appointed Bonnie Mbidzo as its acting CEO as from 1 December.

This after the newly appointed board members were last month directed by tourism minister Pohamba Shifeta to appoint an acting CEO from one of the managers at the company on an urgent basis.

According to NTB, the directors will soon commence with the recruitment process of a substantive CEO.

Mbidzo has been with NTB since 2014 and has served as a senior executive member for nine years.
