Grenze wird wieder geöffnet

Windhoek (cr) - Die Grenze zwischen Namibia und Angola, die im März 2020 auf unbestimmte Zeit geschlossen wurde, wird im kommenden Monat schrittweise wieder geöffnet. Die Grenzposten Oshikango/Santa Clara und Katwitwi werden am 1. Februar wieder geöffnet, die übrigen Ein- und Ausreisepunkte folgen dann zwei Wochen später (15. Februar). Diese Entscheidung wurde auf einem bilateralen Treffen der beiden Regierungen am Freitag in Ondjiva (Angola) getroffen.

Die angolanische Seite machte deutlich, dass für die Einreise nach Angola ein negativer Coronavirus-Test und eine vollständige Impfbescheinigung vorgelegt werden müssen, oder man muss bereit sein, sich auf eigene Kosten sieben Tage lang unter Quarantäne zu stellen.
