Wo ist die vierte Turbine?

I am a Swiss mechanical engineer, who has been working for the following companies: BBC (Brown Boveri Company), ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) and finally at Alstom. Working on steam turbine power plants, gas turbine power plants and combined cycle power plants, I used to work at the Van Eck power plant in the year 1973 during installation. As you describe, rehabilitation of three turbines, four generators and four boilers, has been made during the years of 2014 and 2015. What ever happened to the 4th steam turbine? As the rehabilitation has brought no improvement of electricity output at all, all existing equipment should be demolished and just one (1) gas turbine with the capacity of approx. 250MW should be installed. The Building could therefore be reused in its current form for the installation of the new equipment. Kind regards,
