Windhoek (fis) – Mit dem traditionellen Bierfassanstich ist gestern Abend das Windhoeker Oktoberfest 2017 offiziell eröffnet worden. Den Anstich nahm Bürgermeister Muesee Kazapua vor, der die Veranstaltung als „Einzigartigkeit der Kultur“ bezeichnete. Tausende Besucher feierten im großen Festzelt auf dem Gelände des Sportklubs Windhoek (SKW) ausgelassen zur Musik der Oktoberfest-Band „Die Kirchdorfer“. Heute um 12 Uhr beginnt der zweite und letzte Tag des Windhoeker Oktoberfestes, das neben Musik auch diverse Aktivitäten bietet; so wird die diesjährige Bierkönigin gewählt. (Foto: Stefan Fischer)
