Windhoeker Maranatha-Sänger präsentieren Schuberts Messe Nr. 2

Liebhaber der klassischen Musik können sich auf eine Aufführung der Schubert-Messe in G-Dur freuen, die von den Maranatha-Sängern aus Windhoek am 3. und 4. Juni 2017 in der NG-Kirche in Pionierspark dargeboten wird. Das Konzert beginnt an beiden Abenden um 18 Uhr. Das bemerkenswerte Musikstück wurde in weniger als einer Woche komponiert und besteht aus sechs Sätzen: Kyrie (Andante con moto), Gloria (Allegro maestoso), Credo (Allegro moderato), Sanctus (Allegro moderato), Benedictus (Andante grazioso) und Agnus Dei (Lento).

Als Solisten werden an den Abenden Gretel Coetzee (Sopran), Jacques du Preez (Tenor) und Bernaby Coetzee (Bass) auftreten. Unterstützung erhalten sie von Ebbie Becker (Orgel) und vom Namibischen Kammerensemble unter der Regie von Jürgen Kriess. Der Eintritt der Veranstaltung kostet 100 N$.
