Der Gesundheitsminister Kalumbi Shangula (l.) nahm vergangene Woche in Windhoek eine Sachspende im Wert von über vier Millionen-Namibia Dollar des Bevölkerungsfonds der Vereinten Nationen (UNFPA) entgegen. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem zentralen Nothilfefonds der Vereinten Nationen (CERF) stellte UNFPA Namibia dem Ministerium unter anderem 6000 Hygiene-Kits und 183 Notfall-Kits für Opfer häuslicher Gewalt zu Verfügung. „Diese Unterstützung steht im Einklang mit den Bemühungen des Ministeriums Betreuung für Frauen zu gewährleisten, die Opfer von Gewalttaten wurden. Wir sind sehr dankbar für diese großzügige Spende“, so Shangula. Foto: Gesundheitsministerium
