SFC gibt Geld im Kampf gegen die Wilderei

Der Swakopmunder Fußballclub (SFC) unterstützt die Anti-Wilderei-Einheit Palmwag und somit den Kampf gegen das Abschlachten von Tieren. Vergangene Woche haben Heinzi Schulte (l.) und SFC-Geschäftsführer Sten Gebhardt einen Scheck in Höhe von 5680 Namibia-Dollar an die Inhaber der Palmwag-Lodge, Fritz und Birgit Schenk, überreicht. Das Geld wird zum Schutz der Nashörner angewendet, teilte Schenk mit. Der SFC hat das Geld bei seiner ersten Losaktion dieses Jahr eingesammelt. „Für jedes Los, das wir verkauft haben, haben wir zwei Namibia-Dollar für die Einheit zur Seite gelegt“, so Schulte. Der erste Preis der Losaktion war ein Bargeldpreis in Höhe von 25000 Namibia-Dollar. • Foto: Erwin Leuschner
