Rössing testet Angestellte

Windhoek - Die Rössing-Uranmine bei Arandis hat die Ergebnisse eines Tests veröffentlicht, der andeuten soll, wieviele Angestellte des Unternehmens mit HIV/Aids infiziert sind.

Von 715 Rössing-Angestellten (88 Prozent der gesamten Belegschaft der Mine), die an einem freiwilligen Speichel-Test teilgenommen haben, erzielten 92,6 Prozent ein negatives Ergebnis. "Das Resultat des Tests wurde dem Minen-Management und Gewerkschaftsvertretern vorgelegt. Von den Teilnehmern wurden 7,4 Prozent der Angestellten positiv getestet", so Rössing in einer Presseerklärung.

Der Test wurde von Dr. Clive Evian von dem südafrikanischen Beratungsunternehmen Aids Management and Support durchgeführt.
