Windhoek & /Ai-/Ais (fis) – Verdreckt, beschädigt, unhygienisch und schlechter Service – diese Erfahrungen haben Touristen im vergangenen Jahr im Rastlager /Ai-/Ais Hotsprings Spa Resort im Süden des Landes gemacht, als auch dieses Bild entstand (AZ berichtete). Das staatliche Unternehmen Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) hat im Juni 2016 versprochen, sich der Sache anzunehmen. Jetzt hat es reagiert und angekündigt, dass dieses Rastlager von Mitte März bis Ende Juli renoviert wird, weshalb einige Räume und Gebäudeteile geschlossen sein werden. Zur Investitionssumme machte NWR keine Angaben. Die (letzte) Komplettrenovierung dieses Rastlagers wurde 2009 abgeschlossen; damals betrugen die Kosten 34 Millionen N$ und somit deutlich mehr als dafür veranschlagt war (21,5 Mio. N$).
