Windhoek/Ongwediva (Nampa/cev) – Bei einem Einbruch in einen Elektronikladen sind mehrere Handys und andere Geräte im Wert von insgesamt 50602 Namibia-Dollar gestohlen worden. Das teilte der Polizeisprecher der Oshana-Region, Inspector Thomas Aiyambo, am Sonntag mit.

Die Tat habe sich am Samstagnachmittag gegen 15.20 Uhr in Ongwediva ereignet. Die Täter sollen durch das Dach in das Geschäft Tusk Mobile and Electronics in dem Oshana-Mall-Einkaufszentrum eingestiegen sein. „Die Einbrecher sollen eine Smartwatch, drei Canon- sowie drei Samsung-Kameras und folgende Mobilfunkgeräte gestohlen haben: Nokia 105 (insgesamt 15 Handys), Nokia 106 (15), MINT Smartphone (15), Nokia Tough (1) und Samsung Galaxy (5). Bisher habe es noch keine Festnahme gegeben. Die Polizei ruft die Öffentlichkeit auf, hilfreiche Hinweise zu liefern und verdächtige Personen zu melden.
