Neuer Radiosender mit viel Deutsch

Windhoek - Der geplante Radiosender Hitradio Namibia hat am Dienstag die Lizenz sowie die Frequenzen für den Sendebetrieb zugeteilt bekommen. Das teilte Wilfried Hähner, Mitgründer und Betreiber des Senders, gestern mit. Seinen Angaben zufolge soll der Sendebetrieb am 1. Juli beginnen - und zwar auf UKW 99,5 (Windhoek und Umgebung) sowie 97,0 (Swakopmund und Walvis Bay).

"Hitradio Namibia ist ein 100-prozentiger namibischer kommerzieller Rundfunksender, der sich vor allem auf die Verbreitung von aktuellen Informationen und Nachrichten spezialisieren wird. Die Zielgruppe liegt zwischen 15 und 65 Jahren und die Hörer können sich auf einen vielfältigen Musikmuix freuen", erklärte Hähner gestern. Und weiter: "Der deutschsprachige Anteil des Programms beträgt etwa 70%, da wir auch Interviews und Werbespots in englischer Sprache einspielen werden. Hitradio Namibia will sich für den Erhalt und den Gebrauch der deutschen Sprache in Namibia einsetzen."

Die Eigentümer sind nach eigenen Angaben Wilfried Hähner (CEO) und Sybille Rothkegel (Finanzdirektor).
