Neue Rugby Africa Gold Cup-Trophäe enthüllt

Windhoek/Dublin (sno) - Sechs afrikanische Rugbynationen haben noch eine Chance sich für die Rugby-Weltmeisterschaft im kommenden Jahr in Japan zu qualifizieren. In der Gruppe B muss noch ein Platz gefüllt werden. Der neue Rugby Africa Gold Cup wurde am 8. Mai auf dem Kongress des Internationalen Sport-Journalisten-Verbandes (AIPS) in Brüssel vorgestellt. Dieser Cup wird an sieben Spieltagen zwischen dem 16. Juni und dem 18. August 2018 auch hier in Namibia ausgetragen. Es nehmen ausschließlich Mannschaften teil, die sich noch nicht für die Rugby-Weltmeisterschaft 2019 qualifizieren konnten. Namibia ist eine dieser sechs Nationen. Mehr dazu morgen in der AZ.
