Windhoek (cev) - Im Mai hat sich in Namibia die jährliche Inflationsrate weiter verlangsamt und ist auf 6,3 Prozent gesunken, im Vergleich zu 6,7 Prozent in demselben Monat vergangenen Jahres. Das teilte heute die Statistikbehörde (Namibia Statistics Agency, NSA) schriftlich in Windhoek mit. Für den Rückgang seien vor allem die Lebensmittelpreise verantwortlich, deren Teuerungsrate von 12,2 Prozent im Mai 2016 auf aktuell 3,7 Prozent gesunken sei.
