Hübschle wieder in der SWAPO

Windhoek (fis) – Nach ihrem Austritt aus der SWAPO vor zehn Jahren ist die Windhoekerin Michaela Hübschle (Bild) jetzt wieder in die regierende Partei eingetreten. „Unter der Führung von Präsident Hage Geingob ist unsere SWAPO-Partei zu früherer Pracht zurückgekehrt. Heimzukehren ist die einzig richtige Sache, die ich tun kann“, schreibt Hübschle in einer persönlichen Erklärung. Die deutschsprachige Namibierin war 2007 Mitbegründerin der Oppositionspartei RDP (Rally for Democracy and Progress) und wurde ein Jahr später sogar mit dem zweitbesten Ergebnis ins RDP-Zentralkomitee gewählt. Nach der letzten Parlamentswahl (2014) musste die RDP wegen des schlechten Ergebnisses die Rolle der offiziellen (stärksten) Opposition an die DTA abgeben und versank in der Bedeutungslosigkeit.
