Windhoek (sb) - In Namibia wurde gestern vielerorts ganz genau hingehört, nachdem deutsche Medien zuvor bekanntgegeben hatten, dass sich die Bundesrepublik Deutschland und Namibia auf ein Rahmenabkommen in Bezug auf die sogenannten Genozid-Verhandlungen geeinigt haben sollen. „Nach jahrelangen Verhandlungen hat sich Deutschland mit Namibia auf ein Abkommen zur Wiedergutmachung deutscher Kolonialverbrechen verständigt. Darin erklärt sich Deutschland bereit, den Vernichtungskrieg gegen die Herero und Nama aus heutiger Sicht als Völkermord anzuerkennen“, heißt es beispielsweise in einem Beitrag des Deutschlandfunks.
