Ein Geländewagen ist am Mittwochnachmittag am Straßenrand an der Fernstraße B2 zwischen Arandis und Usakos komplett ausgebrannt. Niemand wurde verletzt, teilten Rettungsdienste mit. Der Vorfall ereignete sich rund 25 Kilometer außerhalb von Usakos. Weitere Details waren zum gestrigen Redaktionsschluss nicht bekannt. Indessen ist am gestrigen Morgen ein Lkw auf der Fernstraße zwischen Swakopmund und Walvis Bay von der Straße abgekommen und steckengeblieben. Laut der West Coast Safety Initiative (WCSI) soll sich während der Fahrt die Fracht verschoben haben, weshalb der Lkw von der Straße abgekommen war. Niemand wurde verletzt. Foto: privat
