FNB unterstützt Namibische Krebsvereinigung

Die Namibische Krebsvereinigung (CAN) erhielt anlässlich des Welt-Kinder-Krebstages, der jährlich am 15. Februar begangen wird, eine Spende der First National Bank (FNB) im Wert von 200 000 Namibia-Dollar. Die Mittel, die von FNB durch die FirstRand Namibia Foundation zu Verfügung gestellt werden, sind für das „House Acacia“ der Krebsvereinigung vorgesehen, in dem bedürftige Krebspatienten während ihrer Behandlung erschwinglich untergebracht werden können. Die Abteilungsleiterin für soziale Investition der FNB, Revonia Kahivere (l.), sagte bei der Spendenübergabe, dass die Bemühungen der Krebsvereinigung Namibiern landesweit zugutekommen und die Bank diese deshalb unterstütze.
