Finanzinstitut spendet für Haiti-Opfer

Das Finanzinstitut Standard Bank hat am vergangenen Freitag 58120 Namibia-Dollar der Gemeinschaft des Roten Kreuzes in Namibia (NRCS) gespendet. Das Geld soll an die Erdbebenopfer in Haiti, vor allem in der Hauptstadt Port-au-Prince gehen. "Das Erdbeben ist mehr als einen Monat her, die Hilfsmaßnahmen sind noch im vollen Gange und unsere Gedanken sind immer bei den Menschen in Haiti", sagte Standard Bank Vertriebsleiter, Thaddius Maswahu (r.). NRCS-Generalsekretärin, Dorkas Kapembe-Haiduwa (l.) nahm die Spende dankend entgegen.
