Windhoek (fis) – Die namibische Flughafengesellschaft (NAC) hat einen neuen Chef: Der Aufsichtsrat hat in seiner Sitzung am 1. September mit sofortiger Wirkung den NAC-Mitarbeiter Lot Haifidi zum neuen amtierenden Hauptgeschäftsführer (CEO) bestellt. Das teilte das staatliche Unternehmen heute Nachmittag mit. Haifidi, der als Strategic Executive for Corporate Governance beschäftigt gewesen sei, löse somit Josephine Soroses ab, die nach der Suspendierung von Tamer El-Kallawi im Juni dieses Jahres zunächst als amtierende Hauptgeschäftsführerin eingesetzt wurde. Die Freistellung vom Dienst war eine Folge von schweren Vorwürfen gegen El-Kallawi, denen der Aufsichtsrat seither nachgeht (AZ berichtete). Zu Details wurden allerdings damals wie heute keine Angaben gemacht.
