Windhoek/Ondingwanyama (nic) – Die Ortschaft Ondingwanyama in der Ohangwena-Region ist im Rahmen eines Hygiene-Programms das erste von fünf Dörfern, in dem alle Haushalte über sanitäre Einrichtungen verfügen. Dies gab das Ministerium für Landwirtschaft, Wasser und Försterei heute Vormittag in einer Pressemeldung bekannt und nannte als weitere Projektpartner das Ministerium für Gesundheit und Sozialdienste, UNICEF, das Rote Kreuz Namibia sowie die Gesellschaft für Familiengesundheit. Das Vorhaben sei im Finanzjahr 2015/16 ins Leben gerufen worden, wobei nun der erste Meilenstein zu verzeichnen sei. Alle 68 Haushalte des Dorfes hätten gemeinschaftlich sanitäre Anlagen errichtet und dabei Materialien aus der Umgebung verwendet. Mehr dazu demnächst in der AZ.
