Klein Karoo/Windhoek (omu) - Namibias Top-Radsportler Drikus Coetzee hat sich beim Mountainbike Rennen in Klein Karoo, Südafrika, einen Platz auf dem Treppchen gesichert. Der 28-Jährige musste sich bei dem als 36ONE bekannten Rennen nur dem Schweizer Konny Looser und dem Südafrikaner Christiaan Van Rendsburg geschlagen geben. Dabei hatte der namibische Radsportmeister im Sprint nach 361 Kilometern das Nachsehen. Am Ende trennten die Athleten gerade einmal drei Sekunden. Der Schweizer und Desert-Dash-Dauerrivale Coetzees, Looser, kam nach 13:26:14 Stunden ins Ziel.
