Chef des Marine-Corps sagt Adieu

Der Befehlshaber des Marine-Corps, Kapitän (Navy) Appolus Haimbala (r.), hat sich zu Monatsbeginn, am 5. Februar, von der namibischen Marine verabschiedet. Haimbala war der erste Kommandant des Marine-Corps - ein Posten, den er seit Juli 2008 innehatte. „Mit großem Stolz blicke ich auf die Fortschritte zurück, die in der Zeit erzielt wurden, als ich der Chef der Marines war“, sagte Haimbala während seiner Abschiedsrede. Er bezeichnete es als Ehre, 13 Jahre in dem Posten gedient zu haben. Foto: Namibische Marine
