Die Capricorn Group übergab am Montag dem Gesundheitsminister, Kalumbi Shangula (l.), eine Sachspende im Wert von 500 000 Namibia-Dollar. Die Übergabe der medizinischen Hilfsgüter fand in Windhoek statt und ist Teil des Versprechens von Capricorn, dem Ministerium mit insgesamt fünf Millionen Namibia-Dollar im Kampf gegen die Corona-Pandemie unter die Arme zu greifen, wovon eine Million Namibia-Dollar für die Anschaffung medizinischer Geräte vorgesehen ist. „Unsere erste Priorität ist es, Leben zu retten“, sagte Marlize Horn (r.), die Marketingleiterin der Gruppe bei der Übergabe. Die Capricorn Group bestätigte, dass sie in den nächsten Wochen eine weitere Spende im medizinischen Bereich leisten werde, um die versprochene Summe von einer Million Namibia-Dollar zu vervollständigen.
