Über 2600 Schüler freuen sich über Milchspende

Die namibische Molkerei, ein Tochterunternehmen von Ohlthaver & List (O&L), hat am vergangenen Freitag erneut der Moses-Garoëb-Schule und der Monte-Christo-Projektschule im Windhoeker Stadtteil Havanna 600 Liter Milch gespendet. Wie O&L mitteilte, deckt diese Menge den Bedarf der Schüler für einen Monat, wobei 2240 Lernende von der Moses-Garoëb-Schule und 440 Mädchen und Jungen von der Monte Christo Projektschule davon profitieren. „Trotz der aktuellen wirtschaftlichen Herausforderungen ist es für uns wichtig, unser Engagement für die Gemeinschaft weiter aufrechtzuerhalten“, so der Geschäftsführer der Molkerei Gunther Ling bei der Übergabe. Die Molkerei unterstütze die beiden genannten Schulen bereits von Beginn an. Im Rahmen des Welt-Mich-Monats, der im Juni begannen wird, zeigten einige der Schüler, was sie im vergangenen Monat über Milch gelernt haben (Bild). Foto: O&L
