Windhoek/Soweto (omu) - Die namibische U17-Auswahl aus Spielern der HopSol-Fußball-Nachwuchsliga musste sich in der letzten Vorrundenpartie beim Future Champions Turnier in Pimville, Soweto (Südafrika) dem FC Spartak Moskau geschlagen geben. Die Russen brachten der Mannschaft von Ex-Profi Collin Benjamin eine empfindliche 5:0-Niederlage bei. Heute spielt das Team in einer K.o.-Runde um die Platzierungsspiele, die am Samstag ausgetragen werden. Das Spiel heute um 10 Uhr wird auf SuperSport übertragen. Die Mannschaft tritt als Black Africa (BA) HopSol an, da eigentlich der gleichnamige Premierliga-Club die Einladung zu dem Wettbewerb erhalten hatte. Da BA aber keine Nachwuchsabteilung hat, kam es zu der Kooperation mit der HopSol Youth Soccer League (AZ berichtete). In der Vorrunde traf das namibische Team auf Orlando Pirates/Südafrika (1:3), AC Reggiana/Italien (2:1) und eben auf Moskau. (Foto: Justus Media/Olaf Mueller)
