#aznamnews: Strandpflege in Swakopmund im Gange

Windhoek/Swakopmund (km) - Die Stadt Swakopmund ist gerade dabei, gewisse Abschnitte seines Strandes zu pflegen. Konkret handelt es sich dabei um den Teil zwischen Nord Strand Street und dem Volleyballgelände nahe des "Fork & Nice"- Essenswagens. Die Arbeiten dienen dazu, einen flachen, leicht zu erreichenden und aufrechtzuerhaltenden Strand zu schaffen, den die Öffentlichkeit für Aktivitäten nutzen kann. Es wird Sand in Richtung Meer verschoben, entfernt und geglättet. Das Projekt wird nach Angaben der Stadt etwa zwei Wochen in Anspruch nehmen und die Öffentlichkeit wird gebeten, den entsprechenden Abschnitt in der Zeit nicht zu betreten.
