Windhoek (hf) • Die Jubiläumsfeier zum 100. Bestehensjahr der Allgemeinen Zeitung am vergangenen Freitag ist sowohl zum Festtag des gesamten Verlagshauses Namibia Media Holdings (NMH) als auch für eine große Schar der AZ-Leserschaft geworden. Im Redaktionssaal der drei Zeitungen AZ, Republikein und Namibian Sun im Stadtteil Eros erfolgte am Morgen der Anschnitt der Geburtstagstorte der AZ. Danach öffnete das Druckereigelände im Lafrenz-Industrieviertel zum Tag der Offenen Tür und zum Andruck der AZ-Jubiläumsausgabe die Tore. Zahlreiche Leser und Gratulanten waren gekommen, um die Druckmaschinen zu erleben. Für jeden besuchenden Leser ist die Feier in der Druckerei zu einem denkwürdigen Tag geworden.
