Windhoek - Mutmaßliche Täter auf der Flucht: Die namibische Polizei bittet die Öffentlichkeit bei der Suche nach dem vermutlichen Kriminellen Simon Matias (29) um Hilfe. Wie die Polizei Anfang dieser Woche mitteilte, sollte der 29-jährige Fahrer der Sicherheitsfirma G4 Security Geld von Windhoek nach Omaruru in der Erongo-Region transportieren. Das Geld, das für die dortigen Banken vorgesehen war, erreichte jedoch nie sein Ziel. Vermutlich, so die Polizei, verschwanden Matias und das Geld in Karibib. Polizeilichen Informationen zufolge soll er sich derzeit in der Kavango-Region aufhalten. Bei Informationen sollen sich Personen bei dem Ordnungshüter Litota (081-25657575) oder bei der nächsten Polizeiwache melden. Zudem hat die Polizei eine Belohnung in Höhe von 30000 N$ ausgesetzt.
