Windhoek/Göttingen (nic) – Die Deutsch-Namibische Gesellschaft (DNG) mit Sitz in Göttingen hat beim Wettbewerb „Die beliebtesten Vereine“, der ING DiBa-Bank 1000 Euro für die Unterstützung der Wilden Pferde in Namibia gewonnen. Mit insgesamt 637 Stimmen konnte sich der Verein mit diesem Projekt den 14. Platz in der Kategorie „Vereinsgröße ab 501 Mitglieder“ sichern. „Wir sind stolz auf unseren Erfolg“, kommentierte DNG-Präsident Klaus Hess in einer ersten Reaktion. Insgesamt gab es 1113 Einreichungen in dieser Kategorie, die Begünstigten auf den ersten 200 Plätzen erhielten dabei jeweils 1000 Euro. Mehr dazu demnächst in der AZ. (Foto: Gondwana Collection)
