Justina Nehale's career progression demonstrates a passion for people and a commitment to human resources.From her early internships at the Office of the Judiciary and Namibia Airports Company, Justina has progressively built her expertise in organisational structure and development as well as human resources management. “My transition to HR broadened my skill set, preparing me for my current role as a Human Resources Officer at Manica Group Namibia,” Justina said. Her diverse experience has equipped her with a strong understanding of organisational needs and the ability to work effectively with people. She emphasises the direct applicability of her skills in people management, communication and organisational development to her current position. Her background in Learning and Development provided expertise in training and development initiatives, while her HR experience strengthened her abilities in workforce planning, employee engagement and conflict resolution.Manica Group's reputation and commitment to employee growth were key factors in Justina’s decision to join the company.According to her, the role offers a balance of challenge and growth, allowing her to delve deeper into strategic HR while continuing her passion for people-focused initiatives. Justina is focused on enhancing her HR skills, particularly in talent management and data-driven decision-making. In light of this, she is pursuing HR certifications with AIHR and plans to pursue a Master’s in Talent Management next year.She hopes to create an environment that balances employee well-being with organisational success, fostering a culture of continuous feedback, development opportunities and flexible work practices.For aspiring HR professionals, Justina advises focusing on both technical and soft skills, including communication, empathy and problem-solving. She stresses the importance of gaining practical experience, staying updated on HR trends and technology and networking with industry professionals.
