CHICA erhält am Kinderkrebstag finanzielle Unterstützung

Windhoek (jn)- Fürsorge und Höflichkeit waren bei der Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN) gestern an der Tagesordnung, als der Weltkinderkrebstag in Partnerschaft mit Liberty Life begangen wurde. Ziel des Weltkinderkrebstages, der jedes Jahr am 15. Februar begangen wird, ist es, das Bewusstsein für die Schwierigkeiten und Herausforderungen zu schärfen, die mit Krebs im Kindesalter verbunden sind.

Aus diesem Grund spendete Liberty Life Namibia, ein Lebensversicherungsunternehmen, 100 000 N$ an CAN, um seine kontinuierliche Unterstützung und sein Engagement für krebskranke Kinder zu zeigen. Chica the Bear ist eine Initiative von Liberty und CAN, um das Bewusstsein für krebskranke Kinder zu schärfen und Spenden für sie zu sammeln. ,,Wir sind bereit, unsere Chica-2.0- Reise mit der Cancer Association of Namibia zu beginnen. Außerdem haben wir schöne, kuschelige Mützen für Erwachsene und Kinder, und wir sind bereit, neue Bestellungen für die Chica-Bären anzunehmen. Die Aktion wird im Winter dieses Jahres als Teil der Winterkampagne von CAN stattfinden", sagte Monique Cloete, Geschäftsführerin von Liberty Life Namibia.
