Martin Kapuka: Public relations

Public relations (PR) is a unique management activity that aids in the establishment and maintenance of lines of communication between an organisation and the public. To express a brand's message, public relations uses editorial space in newspapers, internet pages, on the radio, and on television shows.

Martin Kapuka is an administration and stakeholder liaison officer residing in Ongwediva.

"I was able to create strong industry ties thanks to my great PR base. Reflecting on my accomplishments despite my initial lack of understanding of public relations. This endeavour enabled me to graduate as a skilled public relations practitioner, opening doors and expanding vistas that enabled me to perform at an international level," he says.

According to Martin, every organisation and project benefits immensely from a dedicated PR department or expert in today's interconnected world.

"The most formidable challenge in the realm of PR lies in effectively managing stakeholder expectations. This intricate task involves navigating the diverse needs, desires, and demands of multiple stakeholders," he says.
