Brandon Kilian: Sound engineer
Sound engineers play an important role in the music industry. Also known as audio engineers, they mix, reproduce and manipulate the equalisation and electronic effects of sound. But they don't only work in the music industry.
Some design and control the sound at conferences, in theatres, and in any other venue that requires sound projection for an audience. Brandon Kilian is the sound engineer at Namibia Media Holdings and manages everything that has to do with sound. Sound engineers also work in outside broadcasting vans, setting up audio, visuals and broadcasting equipment, i.e., cameras. He advises young professionals interested in venturing into sound engineering to keep at it as they get better with time.
