Windhoek (Nampa/sb) - Nach Angaben der namibische Straßenbehörde (Roads Authority, RA) werden alle NATIS-Büros landesweit sowie das Büro für Transportregulierungsgenehmigungen in Windhoek bis Ende Juni vorerst mit weniger Personal besetzt. Grund dafür seien die sprunghaft ansteigenden COVID-19-Neuinfektionen, die Namibia derzeit verzeichne. Die RA-Pressesprecherin, Hileni Fillemon, sagte, dass man die Ausbreitung des Virus verhindern möchte und demnach auch nur eine begrenzte Anzahl von Kunden in den Büros zulassen werde. „Wir appellieren an die Öffentlichkeit unsere Büros nur in dringenden Fällen aufzusuchen”, hieß es ferner.
