Swakopmund/Omaruru (er) – Mehrere unbekannte Täter sind zwischen Samstagmittag und Montagmorgen in das Geschäft der Filiale Agra in Omaruru eingedrungen und haben Bargeld, zwei Gewehre sowie Munition gestohlen. Das teilte Erastus Iikuyu, Polizeisprecher der Erongo-Region, jetzt mit.

Bei den Tätern geht die Polizei von Profis aus. „Sie haben mehrere Gitterstäbe aufgebrochen und das Alarmsystem im Büro des Geschäfts deaktiviert“, sagte er. „Daraufhin haben sie die Tür des Tresorraums und einen weiteren Geldtresor mit einem Schneidbrenner aufgebrochen.“ Der Gesamtwert der Beute wird auf mehr als 77000 Namibia-Dollar beziffert.
