Der namibische Präsident, Hage Geingob hatte im März 2020 nicht nur einen neuen Verteidigungsminister, Vize-Verteidigungsminister und Staatssekretär ernannt, sondern auch einen neuen Chef der namibischen Verteidigungskräfte. Flugmarschall Martin Pinehas konnte infolge der COVID-19-Ausgangssperren nie formell in sein Amt als NDF-Befehlshaber eingewiesen werden und sein Vorgänger General John Mutwa, der am 30. März 2020 in den Ruhestand ging, auch nicht entsprechend verabschiedet werden. Das geschah nun gestern in einer Brigadeparade am Unabhängigkeitsstadium in Windhoek. Mehr dazu auf Seite 3.
