Windhoek (cev) – Namibias Finanzpolitik hat seit der Unabhängigkeit im Kampf gegen Armut und Ungleichheit einen spürbaren Beitrag geleistet. Allerdings sind noch viele Verbesserungen möglich. So könnten beispielsweise der Zugang der Bevölkerung zu sozialen Leistungen verbessert und bedürftige Personen genauer erfasst werden. Das ist das Fazit eines neuen Berichts, der von der hiesigen Statistikbehörde (Namibia Statistics Agency, NSA) zusammen mit Beratern der Weltbank erstellt und am heutigen Vormittag in Windhoek veröffentlicht wurde.
