Betr.: Kommentar „Weihnachten und der Kommerz“ (AZ, 29. Dezember 2016)

Ihr Kommentar zum Strandfest in Langstrand hat mir aus dem Herzen gesprochen. Auch in Deutschland ist die Auseinandersetzung über die Kommerzialisierung des Weihnachtsfests eine „never ending story“. Wahrscheinlich führt die aktuelle politische Situation (Ausmaß der Migration, Konflikte mit den islamischen Tendenzen in unserer Gesellschaft usw.) in Deutschland zurzeit zu etwas mehr Rückbesinnung. Als langjähriger Auslandslehrer an der DHPS verfolge ich die Ereignisse in Namibia trotz regelmäßiger Besuche in meiner zweiten Heimat sehr gern über die Internetseite der AZ. Nehmen Sie meinen Brief als Ermunterung, im Sinne Ihres Kommentars weiterzuarbeiten.
