10 000 Dollar für Daniela

Swakopmund - Eine Feierstunde für die kleine Daniela von Leipzig fand vor kurzem im Haus der Jugend in Swakopmund statt. Organisiert von Dörte Witte, präsentierten die Meerdorfer Musikschule sowie die Kantorei ein wunderschönes Konzert, bei dem 6000 Namibia-Dollar durch die Silberkollekte für die Operation von Daniela zusammenkamen. Weitere 4000 Namibia-Dollar erbrachte das Bild "Der Namibschnapper" von Christine Maree, das die Künstlerin zur Versteigerung gespendet hatte.

Die 10-jährige Daniela von Leipzig hat eine angeborene Fehlbildung namens Extrahepatische Gallengangsatresie und benötigt dringend eine neue Leber. Die entsprechende Operation kann nur in Deutschland durchgeführt werden. Um diese zu finanzieren, wurde der Daniela Medical Trust gegründet, für den in Namibia bereits großzügig gespendet wurde. Insgesamt werden 2,5 Millionen Namibia-Dollar benötigt.
