Okahandja Motors at your service

If you’re in the market for a previously loved vehicle, then look no further than Okahandja Motors.

Here Freddie Koch, his son Zandré and the rest of their team will go above and beyond to get you good quality wheels that will keep a smile on your face for as long as you drive it.

According to Zandré, Okahandja Motors has been in business since 2010, when they started operations with a single vehicle on the showroom floor.

Since then they have grown quite a bit, but their goal remains the same: To find you a good quality vehicle that will keep you happy. “We also aim to keep those clients coming back and hope that they refer other potential clients to us, too,” Zandré says.

“We did have to change our name a bit this year to Okahandja Motors CC, from Okahandja Motor Trade, but we are still the same people who run the business.”

While the team is small – currently just six people – “we all try to help where we can and strive to be better every day,” he adds. The team consists of their cleaners, a driver, a security detail, while the rest is handled by Zandré and his dad.

“I think the fact that we’re a small family business is what makes us special,” Zandré says.

He joined his father after returning from New Zealand in 2019 and slowly started taking over from him. “So far, so good. We also managed to survive through the Covid pandemic and everyone was able to keep their jobs,” he says.

They also offer a number of services, including trade-ins as well as Roadworthy and Police Clearances. “Many clients park their cars with us to sell on their behalf. For example, clients have already sent cars from Grunau or Katima Mulilo to us to sell on their behalf. So we must be doing something right somewhere!”

Besides serving clients in the town, Okahandja Motors also sells to the rest of the country. “The internet even makes it possible to sell to foreigners. Our biggest market is for 4x4s, which often makes more sense to them than sedans.”

If you’d like to see first-hand what Okahandja Motors has on offer, visit Namcars.com and select Okahandja Motors, or check out their Facebook page (Okahandja Motors CC). Otherwise send an email to [email protected], contact them via their Facebook page, or call Zandré himself on 081 777 8344.

Okahandja Motors is located at 106 Martin Neib Street.
