Windhoek (fis) - Eine Woche vor dem 100. AZ-Geburtstag hat der Endspurt für die Vorbereitung der Festlichkeit begonnen. Der Hauptfokus richtet sich auf den Tag der offenen Tür, der am 22. Juli von 10 bis 20 Uhr auf dem Gelände der Druckerei Newsprint Namibia im Lafrenz-Gewebegebiet (Eiderstraße) stattfindet.

Bei dieser Veranstaltung wird die Allgemeine Zeitung von mehreren Partnern unterstützt. Essen und Getränke verkauft der Lions Club Windhoek, während der 5. Pfadfinder-Stamm Windhoek und weitere Anbieter für Kinderunterhaltung sorgen. Hitradio Namibia und der Deutsche Dienst der NBC werden jeweils für zwei Stunden live von dem Fest senden. Um 13.30 Uhr und 17.30 Uhr können die Besucher zudem eine Druckmaschine bei der Arbeit erleben, dann wir die Beilage „100 Jahre AZ“ produziert.

Außerdem bietet die AZ verschiedene Produkte zum Kauf an, darunter das neue Buch „Damals war´s“ und den Jubiläums-Briefmarken-Satz (Minisheet und Ersttagsbrief). Auch Tickets für die AZ-Jubiläumsverlosung können erworben werden.
